“Passion runs high in this classic revenge thriller, newly adapted for a modern audience by Arizona Theatre Company favorite playwright Jeffrey Hatcher. Frederick Knott’s nail-biting 1952 play was later adapted by Alfred Hitchcock into the 1954 film. This clever, fast-paced adaptation adds extra layers of intrigue and emotion to the iconic cat-and-mouse story. Filled with vivid characters, sharp dialogue, and lethal amounts of intrigue, “Dial M” will keep you on the edge of your seat.”

I served as sound designer for this co-production between Arizona Theatre Company (Tucson / Tempe) and Pioneer Theatre Company (Salt Lake City). My work included sound system design, finding and editing music and sound effects, recording and editing voiceover, composing musical layers embedded into the extant music, and overseeing the mix of amplified voices and pre-recorded sound and music in performance.
